TO OPEN A MERRY-GO-ROUND ACCOUNT:
You will receive 50% of the selling price, which is determined by Merry Go Round. Prices are determined by the brand that the item is. Items are consigned for a period of 60 days.
You may collect cash from your account at any time. You do not have to wait until the end of the selling period. Or, if you wish, you may let the funds accumulate and draw upon it for purchases.
You may check your account at any time by calling or by coming into the store. If you would like a check mailed to you there will be a $1.00 handling fee. Monies are held on account for 1 year.
Unsold items must be picked up within 7 days of the expiration date.
Please allow yourself sufficient time to locate your items. If you prefer not to, we will assume that you do not want them back and will send them to local charities. (If they sell before donation, you are credited with the sale.)
We also provide a DROP AND RUN service to registered consigners after their initial visit. Simply drop off your items and run. We will go through the items, take what we feel will sell and donate the rest.
AND, MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, BEFORE BRINGING IN YOUR ITEMS, PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES: WE ARE SEASONAL
All clothing and accessories must be in excellent condition, freshly laundered, wrinkle-free and current style (purchased new within the past 2 years) in season and name brands. In other words – virtually perfect! We are very selective – our reputation depends on it! Don’t be offended if we don’t take your items. Our customers’ preferences must be our guideline.
Designer brands that my customers are looking for are Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Tory Burch, Fendi, Coach, Anthropologie, Free People, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Janie & Jack, Flowers by Zoe, Ralph Lauren, Burberry, Mini Boden, Hartstrings etc. are most sought after. We do NOT take the following brands -- Forever 21, H & M, Old Navy, Circo, Cherokee, Faded Glory, Route 66 or any other discount brands. There is simply no resale value in these brands. Also we do not accept maternity clothing, baby equipment or household items.
Clothing does not need to be on hangers, but should be folded and stacked neatly so that we can quickly look them over and provide you with an itemized list.
PLEASE, PLEASE – before bringing in your items for resale, discard anything unacceptable (stained, wrinkled, out of style, smokey smell / basement odor, broken or missing parts).
AND OF COURSE....DO NOT BE OFFENDED IF WE DO NOT ACCEPT YOUR ITEMS...
